Beaux is a very active Australian Shepherd. He is still a puppy (just over one year old) and is still learning. Anderson Duck Dog Kennels has helped teach him not to jump on people, come when called, walk on a leash, kennel (very important for a dog who lives in the house), and in general be a better doggy citizen. Beaux is still very excitable when he meets new people, but is learning to calm down. One important lesson is "place". This gives the dog a safe place out of the way of its humans. This makes a dog living in the house safer and the humans safer. Jody Anderson helped e-collar train Beaux and he is makes great progress. Training the owners is also important. Consistent commands and habits make life easier on the entire family.
